'Bistek' suspends classes in QC for Black Nazarene feast

MANILA, Philippines — Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista announced on Tuesday the suspension of classes in the city on Wednesday, in connection with the celebration of the Feast of the Black Nazarene.

Citing reports of security threats and traffic concerns, Bautista ordered the cancelation of classes in all levels in the city.

Faculty and school facilitators are, meanwhile, advised to provide complimentary homeworks to students.
