‘Five Star’ injures 12-year-old boy in Malabon City

MANILA, Philippines — A 12-year-old boy in Malabon City sustained minor injuries after a Five Star firecracker exploded in his hand on Monday, Dec. 31.

Police said the boy was injured in his forehead and left hand.


The boy was rushed immediately to the Ospital ng Malabon by his relatives and was sent home after treatment.

Meanwhile, officers of the Malabon Police Station were also deployed to the area of the incident and recovered two more unexploded Five Star firecrackers. /muf
