Ejercito on Batocabe slay: It’s still a challenge to resolve political killings
MANILA, Philippines — It remains a challenge for law enforcers to resolve the recent spate of political killings in the country, Senator JV Ejercito said on Sunday as he paid his last respects to slain Ako Bicol Rep. Rodel Batocabe in Albay.
“Of the recent political killings, none has been resolved. This is the reason why gun for hires are gaining confidence in killing,” he lamented.
“This is the challenge to the law enforcement agencies to resolve these spate of political kilings and put a stop to these violent and cowardly acts,” the lawmaker added.
