Ateneo Junior High School moves class resumption to Jan. 7
MANILA, Philippines — The Ateneo Junior High School (AJHS) has moved the date of the resumption of classes to a later date to address the bullying issue inside the campus.
In a memorandum posted in the school’s official Facebook page, it said it will move the start of classes from January 3 to January 7, 2019.
This is “to allow the school administration, faculty, and staff ample time to prepare for the implementation of a series of concrete and proactive measures that will directly address the bullying issue on campus.”

The announcement of the AJHS came after a viral video circulated online showing an AJHS student—a taekwondo gold medalist—kicking and punching a fellow student inside the comfort room.
