MANILA, Philippines — Authorites in Daraga, Albay are now looking at a closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage placed near where Ako Bicol Party List Representative Rodel Batocabe was killed over the weekend.
Apart from the CCTV footage, Chief Inspector Malou Calubacib, spokesperson of Bicol regional police, said on Monday that an individual already went to the Daraga Police to share some information about the incident.
“Mayroon pong nakitang CCTV footage doon po sa may nearby barangay na pwede po siyang i-view for possible presence ng suspect na dumaan or baka may makita tayo na de-motor na mga tao na dumaan,” she said in an interview with Radyo Inquirer 990 AM.
“Meron din pong pumunta sa PNP Daraga na nag-volunteer to give an information about the incident,” Calubacib added.
This development came after a P30 million worth of bounty was raised for the killers of Batocabe.
In an earlier interview, Calubacib said that the bounty could stll reach the P50 million mark in the following days.

Calucacib also said that there were “persons of interest” in the killing of the solon but did not clarify if she was referring to the six suspects earlier reported by the police
Batocabe was killed after sustaining four gunshot wounds on his back after attending a gift-giving activity for senior citizens and persons with disability on Saturday.
