3 nabbed in buy-bust at Lucena City hotel

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested three suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in a hotel room in this city on Friday, police said.

The local drug enforcement unit nabbed Nixon Bermas, 29; Mark Anthony Pabrea, 30; and Judy-Ann Pegguirra, 22, after Bermas sold “shabu” (crystal meth) to a police agent inside a room at Loids Hotel in Barangay (village) 4 at 2:55 p.m.

The police operatives also caught Pabrea and Pegguirra while engaged in a drug session inside the room.

The police confiscated four sachets of shabu weighing a total of 1.10 grams estimated to be worth P2,035, and drug paraphernalia. Delfin T. Mallari Jr./lb
