CA panel OKs Locsin’s appointment as DFA chief

Teddy Boy Locsin’s appointment as Secretary of Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has been recommended for confirmation by a panel of the Commission on Appointments (CA).

The recommendation of the CA’s committee on foreign affairs will be transmitted to the plenary for either adoption or rejection.

Locsin replaced former DFA Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano who stepped down to seek a seat in the House of Representatives in the upcoming elections. /muf
