The northeast monsoon will affect the area of Luzon on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

In its weather bulletin, the state weather bureau said that the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon would have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the said weather disturbance.

The Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will also have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers but due to localized thunderstorms.
