No typhoon from LPA, but rain expected
The low-pressure area over Mindanao is not likely to intensify into a tropical cyclone, the weather bureau said Tuesday.
But weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said the weather disturbance would bring cloudy skies and scattered rain over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.

The LPA was last spotted 235 kilometers east-southeast of Davao City, Davao del Sur, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have fair weather due to the northeast monsoon.
Isolated rain is also possible, Pagasa said. /cbb
