WATCH: New Zealand students hide under desks during magnitude 6.2 earthquake

Students at Paraparaumu College, north of Wellington, ducked under their desks as a 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit central New Zealand today, Oct. 30.

Netizen Luca van Gorkom (@NzLvg) shared a video of what happened on Twitter today.

“Who else felt the one just now?” van Gorkom wrote. “Hope the others in the video don’t mind.”

More than 9,000 people reportedly felt the earthquake, which was centered around 150 miles to the north of Wellington near the Whanganui National Park, as per Stuff report. The quake also prompted the suspension of a session of New Zealand’s Parliament in Wellington, as the chamber was evacuated.
