DPWH to conduct repairs on portions of Edsa, C-5 Road over the weekend

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will be conducting road reblocking and repairs on portions of Edsa, the C-5 Road and major roads in Manila and Quezon City starting 11 p.m. on Friday, October 26, until 5 a.m. on Monday, October 29.

In an advisory, the DPWH said the following roads will be affected by the repairs:

  • EDSA southbound after Scout Borromeo
  • EDSA northbound beside the Trinoma Mall (6th lane from the center island)
  • Batasan Road, Sinagtala Street to Batasan – San Mateo Road (4th lane)
  • General Luis Street westbound near Mendoza Drive and between Ambrocia Street and Reynaldo Street (1st lane center island)
  • C-5 Road southbound fronting SM Aura
  • C-5 Road southbound after Lanuza Avenue
  • A.H. Lacson Avenue corner Aragon and P. Florentino and G. Tuazon corner Masbate
  • Commonwealth Avenue near the pedestrian footbridge and near Jocfer Building and along Commonwealth near N. Zuzuaregui
  • Roosevelt Avenue northbound from Manga to KM Post No. 10 (1st lane from sidewalk)
  • Visayas Avenue northbound Visayas Avenue Road 1 Intersection (1st to half of 2nd lane from sidewalk)
  • C-5 Road southbound in front of Solace

Motorists are advised to avoid the said areas and use alternate roads.  /muf
