Oct. 21 to 28: Lanzones Festival
The province of Camiguin celebrates one of its agricultural products—lanzones. Camiguin is known to produce the sweetest lanzones in the country, with “paete” as its most famous variety. The province sold about 810 metric tons of the fruit to nearby provinces and Metro Manila in 2015.
Oct. 25 to 28: Sambuokan Festival
The city of Mati in Davao Oriental province looks back on its rich history in a four-day festival. Sambuokan is derived from the Visayan word “buok,” which means one. Activities include a floriculture exhibit, LGBT night, sports events and street dancing competition.
Oct. 26 to 27: Tigtigan Terakan Keng Dalan

A street dancing festival in Angeles City, Pampanga province, created in 1992 to show the resilience of the residents in the wake of the Mt. Pinatubo eruption. The festival is one of the biggest street parties in the Philippines.
