Alleged Olongapo City drug pusher nabbed in buy-bust

OLONGAPO CITY – An alleged drug pusher who is included in the city drug watch list was arrested in a drug buy-bust here on Thursday morning (Oct. 18).

Police said Jonathan Evangelista, 34, a resident of Barangay (village) East Bajac-Bajac, was arrested after he allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer during the 10:40 a.m. bust.

Seized from Evangelista were three more sachets of shabu as well as the marked money used in the sting.

Police said Evangelista will be facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /muf
