Track problem stalls MRT-3 Thursday morning

A technical problem reportedly caused delays and long queues at Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) stations Thursday morning.

In an advisory, MRT-3 management said a technical problem was reported on portions of tracks between the Guadalupe and Boni interstations at 6:51 a.m.

Management said personnel from the Guadalupe station inspected the tracks and trains were allowed to travel again some 40 minutes later.

As of 7:28 a.m., 13 trains were moving along the mainline.
