Cavite shooting: Village chief dies, 3 hurt
SAN PEDRO CITY – A village captain in Silang, Cavite was killed while three others were wounded after armed men attacked them at a village covered court, the police said Wednesday.
Regional police spokesperson Supt. Chitadel Gaoiran in a message said the victim Naldie Secretario, chairman of Barangay Yakal, was facilitating a village activity around 10 p.m. Tuesday when at least two gunmen arrived and opened fire.
Secretario died while being taken to Asia Medic Family Hospital and Medical Center.

Meanwhile, three other civilians were wounded from stray bullets during the shooting.
Police said investigation is still ongoing to determine the motive behind the attack. /kga
