The weather bureau is tracking a low-pressure area (LPA) inside the Philippine area of responsibility.

The LPA spotted 1,030 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan, would likely dissipate in the coming days, Meno Mendoza of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Monday.

The easterlies or winds blowing from the Pacific will bring fair weather across the country.

Localized thunderstorms are still possible over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. /cbb
