Monday classes at Arellano University remain suspended due to chemical spill

Classes at the Arellano University in Legarda, Manila will remain suspended on Monday (Oct.  8) due to the chemical spill that happened over the weekend.

The university announced on its official social media accounts on Sunday that work for teaching personnel is also suspended.

However, the suspension of work for non-teaching personnel will be under the discretion of their superiors.

On Saturday, a container truck carrying hazardous chemical crashed into an L300 van near the university premises.

The accident prompted Arellano University to immediately suspend its classes and other scheduled school activities. /ee
