Classes at the Arellano University in Legarda, Manila will remain suspended on Monday (Oct. 8) due to the chemical spill that happened over the weekend.
The university announced on its official social media accounts on Sunday that work for teaching personnel is also suspended.
However, the suspension of work for non-teaching personnel will be under the discretion of their superiors.

Classes are suspended in all levels tomorrow, Monday only in Legarda campus. No work for teaching personnel. Work for non teaching shall be at the discretion of their superiors.

On Saturday, a container truck carrying hazardous chemical crashed into an L300 van near the university premises.
The accident prompted Arellano University to immediately suspend its classes and other scheduled school activities. /ee
