Duterte had ‘private meeting’ with US envoy in Palace

President Rodrigo Duterte and United States Ambassador Sung Kim had a “private meeting” in Malacañang on Wednesday.

Duterte bared this during his speech at the awarding of incentives to Filipino medalists in the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia.

“I think the Ambassador of US is there waiting,” he said without providing details.

Asked for details about their meeting, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque only said, “There is a private meeting.”
