NBP official shot dead in Muntinlupa City
An officer of the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) was shot dead by an unidentified gunman aboard a motorcycle on Sunday afternoon.
Authorities identified the victim as Insp. Romel Reyes, 41, of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) and assigned at Bureau of Reservation Security Service (BRSS).
Police said he was shot dead around 4:05 p.m. along NBP Road near the Sunken Garden of the New Bilibid Prison Reservation in Barangay Poblacion in Muntinlupa City.

The unidentified suspect was wearing a white helmet and riding a blue motorcycle, the police said.
Authorities are conducting investigation and recovering evidences and CCTV footage to identify the suspect. /ee
