DID YOU KNOW: NCR posts highest number of new HIV cases in June

Based on the latest data from the Department of Health, Metro Manila posted the highest number of new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases in June among all regions.

Of the 993 new HIV cases registered nationwide, 33 percent or 324 were from the National Capital Region followed by Calabarzon with 17 percent or 167 cases and Central Luzon with 12 percent or 123 cases. —Marielle Medina
