Saleslady arrested for shoplifting cosmetic products in Makati

A 25-year-old saleslady of a personal care store in a Makati City mall was arrested after being caught trying to leave the store with unpurchased items inside her bag on Saturday.

The suspect, identified by the Makati Central Police Station Police Community Precinct (PCP) 5 as Regine Comador of 168 Westbank Road Floodway, Rosario, Pasig City, was arrested by the store’s security officer with a complaint for qualified theft.

She was brought to the authorities at about 11:20 p.m. after two unpurchased cosmetic products, an eyeliner and a brow gel, worth P476 were recovered in her bag during the mandatory inspection and body frisking of salesladies before going home.

Comador was turned over to Station Investigation and Detective Management (SIDM), Makati CPS for investigation and proper disposition after undergoing medical examination at Palanan Health Center. /je
