The morale of the uniformed men and women of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) are high after recent surveys and the president’s directives during the State of the Nation Address (Sona) point to a supposedly successful job by the police force.
“We’re inspired, we’re motivated with what is happening in the country. Itutuloy-tuloy natin ‘yong mga magagandang ginagawa natin,” NCRPO Director Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar said during the a forum on Quezon City on Friday.
Before President Rodrigo Duterte delivered his Sona, a survey said that the most significant accomplishment of the current administration is the war on drugs, led by different agencies including the Philippine National Police (PNP)

Then, during the Sona, Duterte virtually ordered the police sustain the intensity of the anti-drug campaign, saying that it would still be “relentless and chilling”.

The NCRPO chief stressed that even as the drug war has gained attention as the most noticeable achievement of the president’s government, the police force should continuously strive to improve.
