DARAGA, Albay — Joey Llana, the Bicolano broadcaster who was killed  outside his house in this town last week, will be laid to rest Thursday around 10 a.m.

Llana’s brother, Jose, said family and relatives of the hard-hitting broadcaster would conduct a “Walk for Justice” from the Nuestra Señora de la Porteria Parish Church to his final resting place in Daraga Catholic Cemetery.

During the wake mass Wednesday night, Jose thanked the Catholic church and Albay Bishop Joel Baylon, his brother’s media colleagues, friends, and supporters.

“Somehow, [our family] feels better knowing that many are showing their love for my brother,” Llana told the crowd of at least 400 people gathered outside their house to attend the wake mass.  /lb
