A man in Grafton City, New South Wales, Australia landed himself in jail after admitting to investigators that he had engaged in two sexual acts with a two-year-old filly, who he said gave its consent by winking at him.
Thirty-one-year-old Daniel Raymond Webb-Jackson pleaded not guilty to committing acts of animal cruelty towards the filly, as reported by The Daily Examiner yesterday, July 18.
Webb-Jackson was caught by the police crouching in front an open stable on the evening of Jan. 22, after triggering an alarm set by an unnamed stable’s horse trainer and his staff. The trainer saw the man opening stables from the CCTV camera. He immediately called the police in response.
The horse trainer said in the report that they had installed CCTV cameras because they suspected disturbances a month before the suspect broke in.
During the police interviews, the suspect said that he had engaged in two sexual acts with the filly — making the filly perform oral sex on him and digitally penetrating the young horse. Moreover, Webb-Jackson stated that the filly gave its consent after it smelled his crotch and winked at him.
Magistrate Karen Stafford said the suspect’s two sexual acts constitute acts of animal cruelty. The horse trainer also revealed that the incident changed the filly’s demeanor.
“The filly went from being quiet to just being highly strung, she changed in 24 hours. We had to put her in the paddock to try and get her head right,” the trainer noted, as per report. “You don’t want to see this sort of thing happening, it’s really sick stuff.”
Webb-Jackson was sentenced to serve 10 months with four months non-parole period. He was also fined AUD 700 (around P27,600). Since he had already served the non-parole period of four months, he will be eligible for release next week. Kate Matriano/JB
