Senator Manny Pacquiao should serve as an inspiration to those who want to achieve their dreams.
This was the words of Communications Secretary Martin Andanar after the knock out win of Pacquiao against Lucas Matthysse on Sunday.
“Ipinakita niya na sa pamamagitan ng disiplina at sa pamamagitan ng focus sa kanyang boksing, ay hanggang sa edad na ito ay kaya pa ni Manny Pacquiao manalo,” Andanar said in an interview with dzBb.
(He showed through his discipline and focus in boxing, that even at his age, Manny Pacquiao can still win.)
“So, kung may pag-asa si Pacquiao ay bawat Pilipino ay mayroon ding pag-asa,” Andanar added.
(So if Pacquiao still has hope, then every Filipino also has hope.)
Pacquiao knocked down Matthysse in the seventh round of the fight at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

President Rodrigo Duterte, together with Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, was spotted watching the fight live.
Duterte also congratulated the boxing champ on his recent win, saying that Pacquiao was “not just a public servant, but one of the greatest boxers of all time.” /je
