Flights to, from Batanes canceled

Flights between Manila and Basco, Batanes, have been canceled due to bad weather, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.
In an advisory on Monday, the Miaa said that the following CebGo and Skyjet flights were canceled:
DG 6009 Manila – Basco
DG 6010 Basco – Manila
M8 818 Manila – Basco

Article continues after this advertisementThe cancelation was announced as Severe Tropical Storm “Florita” was spotted 825 kilometers northeast of extreme northern Luzon, outside the Philippine area of responsibility, the weather bureau said in its morning weather bulletin.
Florita was packing maximum sustained winds of 105 kilometers per hour (kph), gustiness of up to 130 kph, and was moving north at 15 kph. /cbb
