Fire hits residential area in Manila, including parts of a university

A fire that had spread through a residential area and parts of the University of Manila in Sampaloc, Manila on Sunday was declared under control at 9:44 p.m.

According to a Radyo Inquirer report, the fire started along Delgado and De los Santos streets of Barangay 402 around 6:00 p.m.

The fire later spread to the University of Manila (UM) College of Law building.
