Rizal cops nab SK chair in drug buy-bust
Police arrested a Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chairman during a buy-bust operation in Tanay, Rizal on Tuesday night.
Acting Rizal provincial director Sr. Supt. Lou Frias Evangelista identified the suspect as Arvien Kenneth Aguirre, a 22-year-old SK chairman at barangay (village) Mag-Ampon in Tanay.
According to a statement released by the Rizal Provincial Police Office, the operation was conducted along Del Pilar St. at 6:15 p.m. on June 26.
Report said the arrest came after an undercover agent successfully bought a packet of suspected marijuana leaves from the suspect.
Police seized six other sachets containing suspected marijuana leaves from Aguirre.
The suspect was arrested and brought to the Tanay Police Station along with the gathered evidence for booking procedures.
