Another businessman killed in Ecija

STO. DOMINGO, NUEVA ECIJA — Another businessman engaged in construction was killed here on Sunday (June 24) in Barangay (village) Cabugao, less than 24 hours after a contractor was gunned down in Cabanatuan City, according to a belated police report.

Manuel Farin, 64, an engineer, was having drinks with his brother, Alfredo, and brothers-in-law, Andres Salazar and Leandro Salvador, at 4:30 p.m. when a man approached them and fired at Manuel.

The suspect fled in a pink motorcycle, reports said.

Manuel was declared dead on arrival at the Sto. Domingo District Hospital.
