The Court of Appeals’ 12th division on Tuesday granted the petition of spouses Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales to stop the election registration board of San Jose, Camarines Sur, from removing their names from the list of voters there.
The Court of Appeals stopped the Camarines Sur Regional Trial Court from implementing its December 2012 ruling that directed the Election Registration Board (ERB) to remove actor Aga Muhlach and wife Charlene Gonzales from the area’s list of voters.
Actor Aga Muhlach and his wife, Charlene Gonzales, on Thursday asked the Court of Appeals to nullify a lower court’s decision removing them from the voters’ list in San Jose, Camarines Sur.
The names of actor Aga Muhlach and his wife, Charlene Gonzales, will remain in the list of voters of San Jose, Camarines Sur, until the Regional Trial Court’s (RTC) exclusion ruling over his lack of residency in the town is decided with finality, an election official here said on Friday.
