A century-old tree Acacia fell in the middle of a road that runs through the length of Cebu province on Saturday morning, tying up traffic in Barangay (village) Perrelos on the outskirts of Carcar City, about 40 kilometers south of here.

Barge anchored off Naga City runs aground in Cebu town

An Indonesian barge ran aground off the wharf in Minglanilla town, southern Cebu after it was disconnected from its anchor in adjacent Naga City about 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday due to strong winds.
