LUCENA CITY, Philippines -- Two masked robbers took an estimated P10,000 cash from the Grand View Hotel at the outskirts of the city early dawn Sunday, police said.
The suspects, wearing bonnet masks and armed with a handgun and a knife, entered he hotel located in Ibabang Iyam village at around 3:30 a.m. and pointed a gun at the two cashier, said Superintendent Ronaldo Ylagan, Lucena police chief.
The suspects took money from the cash register and escaped on foot, Ylagan said.
