Fire hits house in Olongapo City
OLONGAPO CITY — A fire razed a house made of light and concrete materials in Barangay Sta. Rita in this city on Saturday morning (April 27).
Jeffrey Lapid, Olongapo Fire Rescue Operations Chief, said in a report that they received multiple calls through 911 about the residential fire at 5:29 a.m.
A team from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, police, and other concerned agencies immediately responded.
Lapid said the fire was declared out at 5:55 a.m. but it left two dogs belonging to the house owner dead.
The BFP is still investigating to establish the cause of the fire and the estimated damage cost.
