PUERTO PRINCESA -- Three Vietnamese fishermen were arrested in Rizal town in Palawan province Sunday afternoon, police reported Monday morning.
The three were arrested in Bunog village when they went ashore using a small motorboat.
Police chased the mother vessel but it escaped leaving behind its three crewmen.
Police identified the aliens as Huyn Ngoc Hien, Tran Huan Vu, and Huynh Van Oanh. They were brought to Puerto Princesa to face illegal entry charges.
