MANILA, Philippines—Police searching for Jason Ivler, the American citizen tagged in the killing of a human resource manager in a traffic altercation last week, has sought the help of the United States Embassy in locating him.
Chief Superintendent Elmo San Diego, head of the Quezon City Police District, also urged Ivler’s parents and relatives to help in the search for the 27-year-old suspect, and work for his possible surrender.
”We have communicated with the US embassy to get a confirmation of his citizenship and at the same time, we requested a copy of his criminal records, if any,” San Diego said.
Ivler, allegedly shot and killed Renato Victor Ebarle Jr, the son of Presidential Chief of Staff Renato Ebarle Sr., late evening last Wednesday over a traffic altercation along Santolan Road near the corner of Ortigas St. in Quezon City.
