KMU joins other groups in Manila for Labor Day rally

Members of the labor group Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU) started converging with other workers along Recto Avenue in Manila on Tuesday.
Other groups such as Workers’ Resistance against Tyranny and for Human Rights and Courage converged at Isetann, Recto for the annual Labor Day protest action.

Among the grievances that the labor groups demand from the government include the issues on contractualization and pay hike.
The groups are set to march to Mendiola to meet other protesters and stage a Labor Day program. /jpv
