The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has closed the westbound section of España Boulevard due to influx of protesters on Labor Day.

In an advisory, the MMDA said that as of 9:22 a.m, the westbound section of España was closed.

It also advised the motorists to expect heavy traffic along the said area due to the ongoing Labor strike.

The MMDA has estimated about 3,000 protesters, who participated in the rally.  /muf
