Liberal Party (LP) senators challenged the administration to prove its seriousness about holding erring government officials accountable by filing charges against former Bureau of Customs (BOC) Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon and other allies.

“If the Duterte government is serious about accountability, it should also pursue those behind the push for a revolutionary government and the entry of P6.4-billion worth of shabu into the country,” the LP senators said in a statement on Friday.

“Dapat patas ang gobyerno pagdating sa isyu ng accountability (The government should be fair when it comes to the issue of accountability),” Pangilinan said.
