Lady drug pusher nabbed in Lucena buy-bust

LUCENA CITY — A woman suspected of drug peddling was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Lucena City on Thursday, police said.

Supt. Arturo Brual Jr., Lucena police chief, said anti-illegal drug operatives nabbed Charmine Bautista, 23, after she sold a plastic sachet of “shabu” (methampetamine hydrocloride) to an undercover cop in Barangay (village) Ibabang Iyam around 2:30 a.m.

The suspect yielded six small sachets of shabu weighing 1.26 grams worth P2,334. Authorities said the confiscated drugs were ready for sale to addicts in the area.  SFM/rga
