National Peace Consciousness Month is observed every September by virtue of Proclamation No. 675 signed on July 20, 2004, by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. The Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (Opapp) is tasked to spearhead the monthlong peace celebration.–Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
