Close race expected in last leg of Kartzone Superkart

EXPECT A slam-bang affair when Cebu’s best karters duke it out for the coveted Karter of the Year plum in the seventh and final leg of the Kartzone Superkart Series this Saturday at the Kartzone race track in brgy. Panagdait, Cebu City.

With the gap between the current points lead and former Karter of the Year awardee Jette Calderon and rival Joseph Rojo standing at a mere 22 points, all eyes are expected to be on this penultimate race that will determine the champion of the KT Expert class.

Calderon is leading the field with 283 points while Rojo is trailing close behind with 261 markers.

“It’s going to be an exciting and close race. I am sure Jette will do his best to protect his slim lead while Joseph will be very determined to take away maximum points,” race organizer Kim Limgenco said. “Personally, I know that both Jette and Joseph were hard at work in the gym over the holidays.
