Aquino signs Lacson appointment as rehabilitation czar

MANILA, Philippines—President Benigno Aquino III on Tuesday signed the official appointment of former Senator Panfilo Lacson as a rehabilitation czar.
Malacanang in a statement said Lacson would oversee reconstruction in the regions that Supertyphoon “Yolanda” devastated in November.

Malacanang added Lacson would hold a Cabinet rank under the office of the President and would oin the Cabinet meeting later this Tuesday.
