Sad he passed away on the Christmas eve. His family will have mixed emotions during future xmas seasons.

  • Bisdak_kaayo

He could have avoided it if he had anti pneumonia vaccine.  My dad received such vaccine, it is free here in Canada for people aged 60 and up.  His physician should have recommended it to him.

    • Pio Gante

dito di libre yun, kung meron man. pero baka naman sa ibang klaseng sakit namatay si congressman?

    • boybakal

baka naman flu shot ang sinasabi mo.

      • Bisdak_kaayo

iba ang flu shot at pneumonia shot.  I asked to be given a free pneumonia shot with my doctor here, but she said I can only have flu shot because pneumonia shot is given only free to people aged 60 up.

He was one of the “bright boys” during the GMA administration but he was too busy with his political expediency and to his “pockets.” I have not heard him espoused some meaningful bills that promote the welfare of the common man. I may be wrong but that was how I remember him. At least, being a true Christian, I extend my condolence to the grieving family for the “pride” of the Boholanos.

    • loythegreat

He did many good things for Bohol. As a Congressman, he can only do so much. But as governor, he was instrumental in transforming Bohol from one of the poorest provinces in the country to one of the most progressive. He helped turn Bohol into the country’s top tourist destination. Just visit our place here in Bohol and you will be amazed by the development over the years!

  • Taiko_Kauna

At least the man was instrumental in facilitating some of the well-paved roads in Bohol. Of course, it’s not something he can ‘crow about’ for it is certain he made money out of it too.Like the rest of the congressmen, he is compared to the unprofitable servant who only performed their duty, nothing more nothing less. And anybody with the same resources at his disposal can do it – and in the process become wealthy. No legacy, nor footprints to be proud of. BTW, bol-anon ko nyor!

  • marionics

ano ba ito, pro o anti rh?

  • Frank

To all politicians especially senators, congressmen, justices and judges!

Please take note – all of us have to die someday, so please live life honestly. Don’t steal so that in death you will be honored and praised not ridiculed.

    • Bisdak_kaayo

what is important is not the praise from the people. What matters most is the judgement from God.  I dont care what people say.  What I care, I will go to Heaven.  Bihira lang ang politikong hindi mapagbintangang magnanakaw even if he is good.  People will always associate the word magnanakaw to Politicians regardless true or not.  Again, what matters most is the judgement of God, not the comments of people.

      • Noel

God shall judge a person’s deeds on earth.  If politicians are clearly committing crimes and abusing people, God shall judge them and most likely they go to hell unless they repent before they die.

    • Noel

GMA and spouse Big Mike are still very much alive.

  • Rio Legaspi

When you die no one will hunt you in there and sue you for your mistakes, in fact if they will sue you how will you return the money you stolen? You die bringing nothing, and you will go nowhere because you have nowhere to go, there is no such wondering soul, it is only the imagination of supernatural believers, bombarding peoples mind with such incomprehensible scenario.

You will experienced heaven and hell during your lifetime, your breathing time. Heaven when you become a plunderer of the country, if you are a crooked businessman. Hell when you have nothing at all. Between this two universal language there is a big imbalance. I do not know this representative, my point is that he will not go to heaven or hell, because there is no such thing when a person die, there is no proof of this two situation! Unless someone, die and  come back to life and have an account let us say even for a month.

  • Noel

More and more people, young and old, are dying of pneumonia.   But why?  Unless there’s complication, pneumonia is easy to cure.

A traditional Trapos handling government business for relatives profits
not a Macho one, small and skinny,
a scam expert, bad for public health care and social purposes…

Hopefully the next one will have some more moral and ethics…

No one is flawless! Call him by whatever name, but Cong. Aumentado has been instrumental in bringing development projects to Bohol! During his term as Gov, he has implemented several infrastructure projects which has greatly improved the business environment and tourism potentials of the province. I had an opportunity to join him in a dinner meeting in late Nov. We had been talking about the various development projects lined up for the second district of Bohol. I remember him telling us, “If God extends my life, I will see to it that the projects identified in the barangay development plans (facilitated by NEDA) in my district 2 will become a reality”. Let’s credit him for what he had done. He won’t enjoy support of his constituents if he’s just a lame duck. Thanks Congressman, RIP! God bless your soul!

    • AlexanderAmproz

The Philippines Governors duty task is to find project’s where to put their name and pocket others money, a country sickness !

They don’t care at all the side effects.

He never care dynamite fishing, mangrove destructions, Abatang River is the country Cadmium and Lead polluted most river, the polluter was his “friend”, scuba diving and nature are the tourism horses development and income !

Unlimited greed had driven to the quarry of two Chocolate Hills and Loboc River destruction.

Loboc untouched Church and convent was without any doubt the country nicest Historical spot, a hugh ugliest unfinished corruption bridge destroyed the scenery for ever.

Tagbilaran Cathedral was among the oldest and nicest of the country, what left, nothing, its even not a shadow of what it was.

Bohol had a unique collection of Historical Corals Churches, all of them spoiled, all the exquisite top of the line Santos openly stollen by his “antique dealer friend” and inside job.

Bohol is the country second most deforested province after Cebu.

Getting tired to do this end less list, should write a book, have a good night and sweet dreams with you’re trustfully Erico, Bohol ashes will rest in peace with Aumentado departure.

Have to say he was a charming man for dinner, as well as the jailed “Darwfina” his friend !

      • SolitaJ

Amproz, you obviously had inaccurate, exaggerated and grossly erroneous data, probably from way, way back. Please update it Senor by revisiting Bohol. Even, your Abatang (my goodness it’s Abatan) is no longer polluted, it’s now being transformed into a tourist destination, alternative to Loboc river. There are no more quarry in the chocolate hills area, as these are now protected. Please check all your misspellings and grammar. It just adds up to your inaccuracy. And btw, if you dislike or are jealous of the man, can’t help it if there are others who find him good and worthy of respect. But please do check your facts. Maybe you’ve not been traveling lately. Move your butt, come to the heart of the islands, that is Bohol. Visit the Bilar human-made forest and count the trees if you can, haha! Have a night-time river cruise at Loboc and be entertained by the world-renowned Loboc Ambassador brass band and perhaps you’ll melt your bitterness like the Bohol bee farm ice cream malunggay flavor. And if you happen to be a Boholano, poor you, been a stranger to your native land!

      • AlexanderAmproz

How is it possible to have such a short and gullible brain !

For your info, I know Bohol as well as my hand !

Your manmade forest is an ecological disaster, your apology of it show a serious nature ignorance. Mahogany isn’t a local species, a sterile tree for the local bio-top, adding insult to perjury, they where planted to near from each-others resulting in no undercover. This produce soil erosion and flood. The forest lost the role to replenish the watershed.

Rarely read so many imbecility about re forestation and Bohol.

Explain me why to be jealous of him,
but not on a Bilar forest style, please !

Went so many times in the places you are mentioning and so many more others the last 30 years…

Congratulation for mentioning Bohol Bee Farm,

Wicky Walace is the best and nicest person in Dauis and Island Mall
went organic long time ago, adopted children’s, built the most tasteful resort I have seen in Bohol, with an excellent food, the best guest
When you mention Bohol Bee Farm I miss Bohol at once, not for her food, but for herself and her warm welcome concept.
        An outstanding and respectable women

    • AlexanderAmproz

He enriched well 1% of the population already the richest while empowering 99%
with the traditional politicians tricks al’ GMA lying sauce, destroying the country

My deepest condolences to the bereaved family of Cong. Aumentado! It’s time to rest a while and be with the Lord.
