PDEA nabs alleged drug den operator, 3 others in Pampanga

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III (PDEA 3) arrested a suspected drug trader and three others who allegedly yielded some P138,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in Dapdap village here on Thursday night, May 9.

In a statement, the regional anti-illegal drug agency identified the suspect as Noel Galang, 38, who allegedly sold a small sachet of shabu to an undercover agent who used marked peso bills to buy the illegal substance.

PDEA 3 said the suspect is the alleged operator of a house-turned-drug den inside Madapdap Resettlement Center.

Also nabbed were three people who were inside the alleged drug den at the time of the operation.

The arrested persons are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Under Article 2, Section 7 of this law, the mere visit or presence of an individual inside a known drug den is considered a crime.
