Cop stabbed dead in Negros Occidental

BACOLOD CITY—A police officer was killed after he was repeatedly stabbed by a young man in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.

PO1 Jun Eric Moguies, a member of the 6th Regional Public Safety Battalion, died of multiple stab wounds at Gumercindo Yap Memorial Hospital in Kabankalan City, the police said.

Steven Ganza, 18, surrendered to police 11 hours after the stabbing. Carla P. Gomez, Inquirer Visayas
