New hospital planned

TACLOBAN CITY—The provincial government of Northern Samar is in search of funds for a P400-million hospital that it plans to turn over to the private sector.

Paul Daza, the province’s governor, said two sources of funds have been identified—Department of Health and the pork barrel of Rep. Raul Daza.

The governor said if completed, the hospital would be run by a private firm. Joey Gabieta, Inquirer Visayas
