Chopper carrying Angara’s remains arrives at Villamor Air Base
The remains of former Senate President Edgardo J. Angara arrived on Sunday afternoon in Metro Manila.
A helicopter carrying Angara’s remains from Tagaytay arrived at Villamor Airbase in Pasay City at 2:05 p.m.
Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go joined the Angara family in receiving the remains of Edgardo.
Go – who sent some photos to the media – relayed the condolences of President Rodrigo Duterte to the family, led by the late senator’s wife, Gloria Manalang Angara.
Sen. Sonny Angara, who announced the passing of his father Sunday morning, said the wake would be open to the public at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the Heritage Park in Taguig City. /atm
