HPA affects Luzon, Visayas; easterlies sustain hot weather in PH – Pagasa
The ridge of high-pressure area (HPA) will be affecting the weather in Luzon and Visayas while the easterlies will continue to bring warm weather across the country this Tuesday, the state weather bureau said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) also noted that Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, as well as light to moderate winds blowing east to southeast in Luzon and Visayas, and east to northeast in Mindanao.
A temperature of up to 37 degrees Celsius will likely be felt this Tuesday specifically in Tuguegarao City. Metro Manila will possibly experience a temperature of up to 35 degrees Celsius while Metro Cebu and Metro Davao may expect to feel a temperature of up to 33 degrees Celsius.
Baguio City will quite sizzle with temperatures from 17 degrees Celsius up to 25 degrees Celsius.
