Bomb scare hits UST campus 

Authorities from the Manila Police District (MPD) and security personnel of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) searched the campus premises on Thursday, following a bomb threat.

According to the school paper, The Varsitarian, Faculty of Arts and Letters Dean Assistant Dean Nancy Tabirara was informed by a legal management student that a bag planted at the St. Raymund de Peñafort Building may be “dangerous and deadly.”

No evidence of explosives was found as of press time. /ee
