Cops nab 2 in Cavite buy-bust

SAN PEDRO CITY – Two suspected illegal drug peddlers were arrested in successive police operations in Cavite province early Monday.

A report from the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon (CALABARZON) police said Roldan Nuñez was arrested around 1:30 a.m. in Barangay (village) 43 in Cavite City. Nuñez was caught in possession of a pouch that contained four sachets of suspected “shabu” or crystal meth when he dealt with undercover policemen.

In Noveleta town, Victoriano Evelito was arrested around 12:30 a.m. in Barangay Poblacion. Police recovered two sachets of suspected drugs from the suspect during the buy bust operation.                   /kga
